Description

The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and a comic strip by Finnish writer Tove Jansson. They are a family of Scandinavian trolls who live carefree in Moomin Valley with their many friends. The Arabia artist Tove Slotte-Elevant has designed the delightful Moomin tableware collection for children in keeping with the original drawings. The high quality porcelain mugs are made in Finland and are microwave and dishwasher safe.

This years Summer Seasonal Mug features the Moomins setting sail in their boat. They encounter a group of Niblings, who love to eat things and board their boat. After chasing them off, one Nibling is left on board and helps them to sink a pirate ship. The Moomins take pity on the pirates and rescue them but later have to escape in a lifeboat after the pirates take over their ship.
