Description

Bell tables investigate the structural properties of sheet plastic normally used as surface lamination. By forming a concertina, the table folds out to form a sturdy matrix that is six times it's original volume. The sweeping interior of the tables is informed by the contours of brass instruments, this gives an otherwise two dimensional material an unexpected and beautifully fluid three dimensional form.
