Description

The Mini Desk was designed by Franco Albini for Knoll in 1958. A classic design with wooden pedestal drawers that appear to float on the chromed steel frame. Albini was one of the first European designers commissioned to work for Knoll. The Albini desk, was designed to make use of the inexpensive raw materials that were available during the post-World War II era when other materials were scarce. It demonstrates a commitment to both modernism and traditional artisanship by utilizing raw materials.

The Albini desk is available in either stained black or white lacquered oak.
